During the second quarter of 2022, the carpooling and ridesharing app market on iOS in Italy showcased interesting trends in user engagement and downloads, as captured by Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, peaking at around 10.6K in the week of June 20. The app's weekly active users also saw growth, rising from approximately 169K at the beginning of the quarter to 194K by the end of June.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 1.9K at the end of March and climbing to around 3.6K by the end of June. Correspondingly, weekly active users grew from 3.4K to nearly 6.7K over the same period.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus showed a consistent upward trend in weekly downloads, reaching 2.2K in the last week of June. The app's weekly active users increased from about 9.8K at the end of March to over 12.6K by the end of the quarter.
